December 27, 2023

In November, the Psychology Department organized a seminar requiring “What is Psychodrama?”

First of all, let’s have a look on this term

Psychodrama is a powerful therapeutic method that uses action and role-playing to explore personal experiences and emotions. In a psychodrama session, you will have the opportunity to:

Enact scenes from your life, past or present.

Act out your feelings and thoughts in a safe and supportive environment.

Receive feedback from the group and explore new perspectives.

Develop new coping mechanisms and find solutions to your challenges.

What We Have Learnt:

  • The basic principles of psychodrama.
  • The role of the director, protagonist, and auxiliary egos.
  • Psychodrama techniques such as doubling, mirroring, and role reversal.
  • How to apply psychodrama to your own life.
